Spoxxy Tank, more Super Gs

The SUAT (designer of Bunzies) gathered back athletic tank (Spoxxy) was retired right when I found out about it. I was super bummed because the Bella Flowy Tank is my favorite RTW option that a lot of screen printing companies offer, and Spoxxy was the closest pattern I'd seen.  Well, the Spoxxy was just rereleased! I thought I'd leave off the band to make it just like the flowy tank, but I decided to do one with the band and try it. I'm super pleased with it. I used clear elastic to do the gathering of the back. It was a little tricky because the clips have a tendency to pop off, but it was less frustrating than gathering with thread and having it break. There's another method where you zigzag stitch over dental floss. I might try that for another project. 
Another pair of Greenstyle Super G capris. These are mostly the multi supplex with heavy supplex accents, finishing off the last of my bundle fabric from Zenith & Quasar.

Some companies had pattern sales recently, so I bought patterns for swimsuits and running shorts and sports bras. I'm at the point where I can handle some frustrations, lol. Hopefully they will learn something in the process.

Saying Goodbye

Yum Yum 6/18/93 - 10/31/08 I am very saddened to tell you that our beloved cat was euthanized yesterday. She was much sicker than we knew. I had her checked into the hospital to try to help her get over a respiratory infection and start eating again. Her vet discovered advanced intestinal cancer on an ultrasound. This is difficult for me because I'd be prepared to do anything to help her, but it was just too late. She had a really good life of 15 years with me, and I think she had a good death. She already had an IV line, so it was quick and peaceful. She was an extremely loving cat, and we miss her very much. It is difficult for us because Yum Yum's situation was so similar to that of Bryan's mom, who passed away in 2007. Unfortunately, we could not spare her from suffering as we did Yum Yum. Pokemon Halloween costumes

Sean wanted to be Ash, specifically from the Kalos seasons of the anime. Shirt is a modified Zippy Jacket from Blank Slate Patterns. I added white HTV to a hat with a mini iron, and I bought solid red and black fingerless gloves from Amazon and chopped and reassembled them. He won 2nd place in the kids cosplay contest at the library comic- con! Kids raglan in Knitorious "marvelous evolutions" panel and print. I absolutely love this print! Mew as Spider Gwen is so cute! Umbreon version of the Eeveelution hooded shrug free pattern from Choly Knight. http://www.cholyknight.com/2017/10/06/eevee-hooded-shrug She has free coin purse and "blob" plush patterns for all the Eeveelutions too!
