More joggers/pegs/boxers


Some recent FOs in this polygon animal print cotton/Lycra from Vinegar & Honey Co. Baby Bear Joggers (size 4 with size 3 length elastic in waist) with drawstring in waistband and pockets. Gradually working my way through the more complicated options. None of this is particularly hard, but switching between serger and sewing machine and setting up twin needle or making buttonholes is mildly annoying. Capri length (actually slightly longer than capri cut line) Peg Legs with contrast contour waistband since I only had 1 yard. Remind myself to set differential feed back to zero before serging clear elastic in waistband. Haven't tried the trick where you feed the elastic through the hole in the foot of the serger. Used leftovers to make size 3 Pirate's Booty boxers. There wasn't a big enough piece to cut the main boxers piece as designed. I folded the pattern piece and added seam allowance to create side seams. I did the same thing on the boxers I made with leftovers from the blue fabric.

Saying Goodbye

Yum Yum 6/18/93 - 10/31/08 I am very saddened to tell you that our beloved cat was euthanized yesterday. She was much sicker than we knew. I had her checked into the hospital to try to help her get over a respiratory infection and start eating again. Her vet discovered advanced intestinal cancer on an ultrasound. This is difficult for me because I'd be prepared to do anything to help her, but it was just too late. She had a really good life of 15 years with me, and I think she had a good death. She already had an IV line, so it was quick and peaceful. She was an extremely loving cat, and we miss her very much. It is difficult for us because Yum Yum's situation was so similar to that of Bryan's mom, who passed away in 2007. Unfortunately, we could not spare her from suffering as we did Yum Yum. Pokemon Halloween costumes

Sean wanted to be Ash, specifically from the Kalos seasons of the anime. Shirt is a modified Zippy Jacket from Blank Slate Patterns. I added white HTV to a hat with a mini iron, and I bought solid red and black fingerless gloves from Amazon and chopped and reassembled them. He won 2nd place in the kids cosplay contest at the library comic- con! Kids raglan in Knitorious "marvelous evolutions" panel and print. I absolutely love this print! Mew as Spider Gwen is so cute! Umbreon version of the Eeveelution hooded shrug free pattern from Choly Knight. http://www.cholyknight.com/2017/10/06/eevee-hooded-shrug She has free coin purse and "blob" plush patterns for all the Eeveelutions too!
