Booga bag in progress Originally uploaded by Buxtrosion . Booga bag almost ready to be felted. This is going to be a Christmas present for my mother in law. It's not a surprise anymore since she picked out the yarn (Noro Kureyon). We went to Bluebonnet Yarn Shoppe last weekend. There was such a great vibe in that shop- the staff seemed to be having a lot of fun. I love the Cascade 220 wall and the well laid out Noro. I love working with this yarn on projects to be felted. They work up so quick and pretty. I used another colorway of Kureyon on the Kitty Pi bed.

DS case from handspun yarn Originally uploaded by Buxtrosion . So I frogged the wristwarmer (too scratchy) and made this Nintendo DS case from my Kool-Aid dyed handspun. (It's the same yarn, it just looks duller without the flash on) The general mode of construction was inspired by the electronics cozies in Stitch n Bitch, but I just worked it to fit the DS and added an i-cord strap. Hopefully it will keep the DS happy on our trip.

Wrist cuff Originally uploaded by Buxtrosion . Made from my first handspun and Kool-Aid dyed yarn. Very simple, very quick on size 10.5 needles. I just wanted something I could wear made of my first yarn! I have enough left over for maybe a cell phone or ipod cozy. Hmm. . .
