Finished armwarmers from SnB Nation in Paton's Soy Wool Stripes. I used just under one skein, so I've got an extra skein to make another pair to give away. SWS is a low-twist single that's pretty nice to work with. There's a slight itch factor, but not enough to really bug me. I imagine it's nicer than Kureyon, which is what the pattern calls for. I like Kureyon for felting, but would not want to wear it close to the skin. Plus SWS has no annoying veggie matter or breaks. And it's cheap! At Michael's! Time will tell if there's a pilling issue, though. I almost forgot to rant about the pattern! The cable design is mirrored on the second armwarmer. When I first started the second one, I mirrored the placement of symbols on the chart but not the symbols themselves. I realized after just a couple of rows that it couldn't possibly be right, so I mentally flipped the symbols too (yay o-chem!) and it was just fine. Would it really have killed...
