2019 first sews- Bree/Lexi/Stella, Mario JRR, and new coverstich

Bree from Made for Mermaids in leftover lace from Surge and stash cotton/Lycra. For some reason I had a few hiccups with this project, probably due to sloppiness or misremembering instructions, lol. Hemmed with my brand new coverstich machine! (Juki 1500)
I need to decide whether to understitch the lining to get it to sit a little better around the neck and arms.

Lexi Loungers from Made for Mermaids in black baby French Terry from Sly Fox. These are the most comfortable pants ever. I graded out for the calves and the pattern pieces looked ridiculous, but it worked out great.

V back Stella from Made for Mermaids in pink baby French Terry from Sly Fox.
The back view in the photo looks kind of wonky but it looks great in person. I think it will look even better in a drapier sweater knit.

Patterns for Pirates Jolly Roger Raglan in Yoshi's Island panel and coordinate from MK Designs. I have a bunch of their fabric in my stash but I think this is my first time using it (other then the Marvel Transformers print). It washed up so soft! Some of the "custom" cotton/Lycras I've used have been a little thicker and more compressive than I prefer for shirts. This is really nice. The back is a print from RockerBye that I've been using to coordinate with almost everything I make for the kid. He is suddenly obsessed with Bowser Jr, so this panel was perfect!
I did a reverse coverstich hem on the sleeves with rainbow thread in the loopers. It's so cute!
